Lara Rasin

Lara is an international business graduate from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT Croatia), with an additional degree in anthropology from the University of Zagreb where she was an Anthropological Almanac editor and mentor. 

After two years in international project management at Deutsche Telekom EU, Lara chose a passion-driven career change. She is currently a freelance writer and translator, and a graduate student in cultural anthropology at the University of Oslo. She holds a creative writing certificate for fictional and non-fictional prose issued jointly by the State Department's Fulbright Senior Specialist Program, the University of Zagreb, and the Agency for Mobility and EU Programs.

Lara was born and raised in the United States and now divides her time between Croatia and Massachusetts. She's lived in Maryland, Italy, North Carolina, Massachusetts, and Croatia. She speaks both English and Croatian at a native level.
